Rin ~ According to Ariel, it's Sousuke's birthday, and he's sure as hell not keen on celebrating it. But Rin's got other ideas and it's pay-ups for backing out of their post-update reunion swim. And Sousuke's loves it.

Momotarou ~ It's full panic and confusion as the entire city breaks out in alerts. Sousuke and Momotarou evacuate from their home as ordered, but in the panicked crowd of people, both are broken apart and separated, much to Sousuke's horror.

Rin ~ Struggling from his tumble and sweep into the Refuge, Sousuke runs into Rin and shelters his best friend from the pressing crowds and Rin's tragic loss of Nanase. Trying to draw strength from each other, they board and elevator to descend, but the aphrodisiac-laden air turns good men into monsters and both injured boys are dragged into a carnal nightmare or rape and abuse.

Gou ~ Sousuke's time in the shower draws to a close as Gou returns to the apartment. Rin's found his sister and brings her into the fold of him, Sousuke, and Momotarou, but when Gou sees the marks left on Sousuke's body, the comfort goes the other direction.

Hibari ~ Unable to stay within the room at close proximity for long periods of time, Sousuke finds himself once again trapped on an elevator, though this time, alone with the psychotic youth, Hibari. But luckily, the aphrodisiac's second attempt is thwarted by Hibari's pride and Sousuke's resistance and the two part ways with a terse, but-more-amiable, connection.

Peter ~ While things have begun to settle underground, Sousuke remains uncomfortable surrounded by the walls. Though he takes the stairs now, he notices a familiar figure. Peter's company is a strange one, rife with an unknown slight and churning drugs. Too weak to resist the chips machinations, Sousuke comforts Peter's delirium in the worst way possible.

But for the first time, their meeting runs troubled as neither are at the top of their game. Haruka and Rin ~ Sousuke finds Haruke wandering outside the re-education center, revived from his death during the event. Determined not to see Rin cry in pain again, Sousuke ignores his feelings and takes Haruka back to Rin, and leaves before things get too raw.

Hibari ~ Torn apart between his desires to be with Rin and his loyalty to his best friend, Sousuke does the one thing he's promised himself never to do: lose reality in the carnal touch of Ariel's embrace.
